UA Flooring Installation

While installation instructions vary from series to series, most UA floors can be installed above-grade, on-grade, or below grade. They can be glued over a plywood or a concrete sub-floor or they can be nailed or stapled down. The company has also suggested a floating installation is possible with their flooring options that are at least 3 inches in width. Only a few products are warranted for radiant heat including their Oak, Walnut, Teak, Maple, American Cherry, Ash, Australian Cypress, Hickory, Reclaimed Heart Pine, and Indonesia Mahogany options. Other flooring choices are not rated for radiant heat systems.

All UA Floors offer a lifetime structural warranty. They also come with a 25-year limited residential wear warranty to help give homeowners peace of mind with installation.
