The Residences at The Bath Club | Porcelain Tile Installation
Location: Miami Beach, Florida
Renowned throughout the state, the Bath Club at Miami Beach is one of Florida’s most prestigious beachfront residences. Designed by famed architect Revuelta Vega Leon and completed in 2005, the twenty-story building is home to floor after floor of impeccable two-to-four-bedroom condos. Complete with amenities typically reserved for five-star resorts, the Bath Club is the height of luxury living. As a part of the recent renovation, the Bath Club tapped our team at East Coast Flooring to help remodel parts of the lobby, interior, and exterior. In the lobby, we installed eleven thousand feet of porcelain tile, including in the elevator cabs. To achieve the look they were going for, we used 60” by 60” tile in the main area, and 40” by 40” tile for the exterior. In the Club Room, we used a unique chevron pattern. On the stairs at the entrance by the valet, as well as at the back leading to the exterior, we replaced the old tile. In the lobby restrooms, we installed three-dimensional tile on the walls.
Overall, this project provided us with a unique challenge, in that while working with such large tile, you must be very confident in your choice of setting material.
