Private Residence | Residential Flooring Installation in Lotus, Boca Raton

Private residences always provide us with a fun challenge in that most projects are one-of-a-kind. Throughout this beautiful Boca Raton home, we installed twenty-seven hundred square feet of luxurious, wide plank, oak flooring, as well as twenty custom stairs. The installation of wide plank wood can be tricky since it is crucial that the flooring be laid perfectly flat. So, in some instances, we needed to re-level the floor.
As it is everywhere in South Florida, moisture is a concern when working with luxury oak flooring. On the first floor, we decided to use a high-end adhesive with moisture barrier properties after speaking with the homeowner. As moisture is generally not a concern on the upper floors in homes, the second floor just needed some leveling and we utilized a sound-absorption adhesive.
